● 167CC / 62MM CYLINDER KIT, HIGH COMPRESSION (eSP+ 125CC/150/160 ENGINES) (12100-K0S-V62)
● This specific cylinder kit has been developed to bring you a lot of power, with a minimal effort and expenses, and this by using a flat piston with the stock 125/160cc valves/cylinder head, throttle body, manifold and air filter.
● By installing this YUMINASHI 62mm Light Bore cylinder kit (12100-K0S-V62) on the stock 125 head you're not only getting a 167cc engine, but you also get the compression ratio where the head was basically designed for.
● If you have a 150 or 160 4V engine, then the higher compression piston in the set has the possibility to produce more power compared to the stock 160 piston, so both the 125 and the 150/160 4V engines have a serious benefit with installing this kit.

※ The injector flow rate will depend on which type of exhaust you are installing as you can see in the video below, with the stock 160 exhaust the injector flow rate will be much smaller compared to a sports exhaust installed such as the YUMINASHI Super Street Sound-Adjust Stage-1.

● WHICH INJECTOR SHOULD YOU INSTALL??:
● In the video below you can see that the answer to the injector size question really depends on which exhaust you have installed.
※ If you have a PCX125, then keep in mind that the header of your exhaust is smaller compared to the stock PCX160 exhaust, and certainly smaller compared to the YUMINASHI Super Street Sound-Adjust Stage-1 exhaust!

※ If your engine is stock/original a 160cc engine, then you still can use the original injector as you can see in the results below, no need to install another one, you will get 16.56Hp and your Air Fuel Ratio will be 13.1 AFR which is safe to be used.
(If you have a 125cc engine, then you should install the 140cc B-type 8-holes injector (LINK) if your stock/original engine is a 125cc in combination with this 167cc cylinder kit (Keep in mind that your engine won't run perfect right away, your ECU need to learn, and this takes up to about a 1 hour drive)...
※ You will make the most horsepower with the 140cc/min injector in combination with the YUMINASHI Super Street Sound-Adjust Stage-1 exhaust, and this with the sound adjust valve open (18.04Hp and this is 8.9% more horsepower than with the stock 160 exhaust, or a win of 1.48 extra horsepower compared to the stock exhaust), but the downside of using the 140cc injector with this exhaust is the Air Fuel Ratio, which will be 14.63 AFR and this is actually lean for a tuned engine.
This AFR could damage your piston, so therefor we recommend the install of the 170cc/min injector with the exhaust valve open, which will reduce the extra horsepower to only 5.5% more horsepower, or +0.91Hp compared to the stock 160 exhaust, but it's perfectly fine/safe to drive wide open throttle over a longer distance...
● It could be an option with the Sound Adjust Stage-1 exhaust installed to remain the 140cc injector to run it with the valve open for the extra power over short distances, and to close the sound adjust valve to adjust the air fuel ratio to safe with this injector, at the moment you intend to drive over a longer distance at wide open throttle...
You can see on the dyno run graph below that you still make more horsepower compared to the stock 160 exhaust with the valve closed passing 114Km/h (70.84Mph).
● PISTON DETAILS:
● The piston you get in the 167cc YUMINASHI high compression kit is not only a higher then the stock 160 piston, but also a lighter piston compared to stock, where the valve pockets are prepared to run our high lift performance camshaft.
● The hard chromium plating layered (Cr) piston rings which come with the set are produced by very strict Japanese standards and has excellent characteristics which combine the original properties of chromium metal with the advantages of erector-deposits!
The main benefits from the chrominum plating layered piston rings are extremely high hardness of HmV (Micro Vickers), 800 to 1100 (cf. gray cast iron 220 to 270), high melting point of approx. 1800°C (cf. cast iron 1200°C), good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, a low friction factor and excellent wear resistance, such features are very effective in preventing piston ring wear.
● The enlightened piston is made from A-grade materials and the piston skirts come with a molybdenum coating. The Anti-detonation grooves on the top ringland provide several advantages, which include further atomization of the combustion charge to prevent damage to the piston and ring caused by pre-ignition. These grooves also prevent carbon build up on the ring land which can cause the compression ring to stick in the ring groove.
The pressure seal groove will prevent gas build up below the top compression ring; these gases can cause the ring to lift from the ring groove. Unseating of the ring will result in compression losses and lower performance.
※ The valves of the 160cc and 125cc head are the same size, there is no difference in valve size between the 125 and 160 4V head.
※ Recommended to be installed in combination with our large variator set (LINK), you won't be able to make a higher top speed with the stock/original variator installed.
