● INTRODUCTION / BACKGROUND:
● The manifold of the 4-valve Honda 2020 and onwards generation 125cc, 150cc and 160cc eSP+ engines is surprisingly a V.2 manifold of the Honda Forza125, which is actually an upgrade, newer version of the Forza125 V.1 manifold.
● The Forza125 is the first 4-valve scooter engine which Honda released and the V.1 manifold was used by Honda on this scooter from 2015 until 2020.
● For the step-up to the V.2 eSP+ Forza 125 manifold Honda changed the injector joint, and they flipped the throttle body 180, this means that the sensor block is now located at the right hand side instead of left, and the throttle cable at the left hand side instead of the right hand side.
● Surprisingly Honda did this for all other 125cc, 150cc and 160cc eSP+ engines, and they installed the same 125cc Forza 125 V.2 manifold on all 125cc, 150cc and 160 eSP+ engines...
● Honda is using 2 totally different sensor blocks on the eSP+ engines, they have throttle bodies with a 3-pin connector (AIRBLADE 160, CLICK160, LEAD125), and they have throttle bodies with a 5-pin connector (ADV160, PCX125/160, SH125i/150i) and to keep things easy again, they have used the same valves sizes in all these engines (125cc, 150cc, 160cc), and Honda has decided to install the Forza125 V.2 manifold on all these engines
● 32MM MANIFOLD SET (FORZA125 & 4V eSP+125 / eSP+150 / eSP+160 ENGINES)
● YUMINASHI has worked it's own manifold upgrade out for the eSP+ engines, we took just as Honda the Forza125 V.2 manifold (PCX125/160 manifold / ADV160 manifold) to enlarge the diameter to 32mm by a 5-axis CNC machine, and we worked a billet aluminium CNC Manifold Top Plate out (LINK) with rubber and clamps, and we have done it in such a way to allow the use/install of the 2-valve generation 5-pin 32mm throttle bodies from the ADV150, PCX125/150 (LED, Smart-Key & digital) and SH125/150i...
● Because the 2-valve generation throttle bodies are using a 5-pin Gen.2 sensor block (LINK), and not the Gen.3 eSP+ 5-pin sensor block (LINK), we have also a wire loom worked out (LINK) to connect the 5-pin Gen.2 sensor block to the Gen.3 eSP+ wiring harness to connect the 32mm throttle body set (LINK) without an issue.
