● YUMINASHI 20MM ALUMINIUM SPACER GASKET (FOR STROKED UP ENGINES) (12191-KZR-620)
● YUMINASHI 20MM (0.78740 Inches) CNC Machined Aluminium Spacer Gasket to lift up your cylinder and to work the correct piston deck height out with a long stroke crankshaft, or with the stock stroke crank and a longer connecting rod installed.
● If you are thinking to install the longer 100mm connecting rod (LINK) at the stock 57.9mm engine, then this would be actually a good idea, because the longer connecting rod would provide a longer piston dwell time at & near TDC, which would improve your cylinder head breathing, and maintains a longer state of compression by keeping the chamber volume small.
This has obvious benefits: better combustion, higher cylinder pressure after the first few degrees of rotation past TDC, and higher temperatures within the combustion chamber.
»The longer rod will reduce also friction within the engine, due to the reduced angle which will place less stress at the thrust surface of the piston during combustion.
»For the same total deck height, a longer rod will use a shorter (and therefore lighter) piston, and generally have a safer maximum RPM.
● If you are rather looking for a way to boost the cylinder displacement of your engine, then the maximum allowed stroke for a 100mm connecting rod would be 62.5mm which is a 1.6 conrod/stroke ratio.
※ Keep in mind that you will need to install 2 paper gaskets in combination with 1 aluminium spacer gasket, and you will need longer cylinder bolts, longer dowel pins, and a longer cam chain which you all can find in the "Stroker Parts" category for your scooter model.
※ It is possible to make a combination of 2 aluminium spacer gaskets to get the right height for your tune.
※ Optimal however is to order a slightly higher spacer, and machine it down to the specifications you need...
