If you are looking to get serious power out of your NAVI, the MAX-REV 10K-SS CDI is the mandatory electronic foundation—especially if you are upgrading your camshaft.

This CDI was specifically mapped to be the ultimate companion to our SS240 Super Sport Camshaft (LINK).
The SS240 is designed to make your engine take massive gulps of air, utilizing the stock 25.5mm intake valve to its absolute maximum.
But with a stock CDI, the engine cuts out right as the SS240 cam is hitting its stride.
By raising the ceiling to 10K RPM, this CDI allows the SS240 cam to breathe deeply and pull incredibly hard right up to the point where the engine naturally stops flowing air.

● The Ultimate 24mm Breathing Mod:

To extract the absolute full potential of this 10K RPM limit and the SS240 cam, you need to feed it. The stock cylinder head ports are tiny (22mm) and will choke the engine at high speeds.

Here is the ultimate builder's recipe: Pair this CDI and the SS240 cam with a 24mm PE24 carburetor. Then, port your stock intake manifold and cylinder head port from 22mm out to 24mm (matching the inner valve seat size).

Why? Going to 24mm isn't overkill—it perfectly matches the stock 25.5mm valve inner valve seat and the PE24 carb, creating a flawless, zero-bottleneck flow path. Your engine will breathe fire right up to that safe 10K limit, giving you a massive surge in mid-range torque and top-end horsepower.

● Put the Power to the Ground (Don't Just Make Noise):

Having 10,000 RPM on tap is amazing, but if your transmission isn't tuned for it, you'll just bounce off the rev limiter without gaining actual top speed.

To translate those high RPMs into pure MPH, you need to mechanically load the engine. We highly recommend pairing this CDI with our upgraded variators to properly drop the RPMs into the meat of the powerband, translating your engine power into forward momentum:
