● An important player in tuning the PCX125 and PCX150 is Torque.

Torque is such an important player, and particularly with the PCX125, PCX150, SH125i ABS and SH150i ABS because these scooters have to deal with a lot of weight. With 124.4Kg (275lb) dryweight for the PCX, we can't category them under the "featherlight class" So we have to keep this in mind from the first step we take in the tuning direction in the benefit of all later steps we will make to improve and gain a comfortable higher top speed.

The PCX125/PCX150 and their brothers aren't also the epitome of perfect wind aerodenamics, so these are scooters that have to deal with a lot of wind resistance.
Reality have learned us also that most PCX125 or PCX150 enthusiasts don't weight 60Kg to 70Kg like an average Asian person, but more something like 90Kg (198lbs) like a Western European person, and extra on top of this is the average height from the PCX125 driver also not 1.67mtr (5ft 6in) like an average Asian male, but 1.80mtr (5ft 10 ½ in) like a average Western male. So torque plays a very important role.

This all makes that the PCX125, PCX150 and their brothers aren't easy bikes to push to high top speeds and this is why we have developed the Inertia Power Booster Set for you.
Before you consider to change the vario (pulley),  final gears, cylinder, cylinderhead or anything else to tune your PCX125 up, we recommend to give your engine some help to make it easier to deal with the factors described above. 

Inertia tuning is a non flashy improvement, but it is, really an improvement.

And one of that kind  that will reward you in each and every step you take later on to gain higher top speeds.

 

● INSTALL:

The Inertia Power Booster is really fast and easy to install.

You remove the radiator and remove the fan on top of the flywheel with the 3 screws.

Install the INERTIA POWER BOOSTER disk between the flywheel and the fan.

You will need the 3 Longer screws that comes with the set to install the INERTIA POWER BOOSTER between the flywheel and the fan.

After this you can install the radiator back on his normal position with the original bolts.

If you install the INERTIA POWER BOOSTER on a 150 engine like PCX150 or a SH150i ABS, then make sure you install some washers between the radiator otherwise the fan on top of your INERTIA POWER BOOSTER will touch the radiator and make damage!

No need to do this with a 125 engine....

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?...

 

● We know that lot of people don't understand how it works, and to make it more visual, we suggest to take a look to this video below from a toy car without an engine, but only with a flywheel installed.

Energy that is moving, don't want to be stopped anymore, so you can see a flywheel, like the Inertia Power Booster disk, as a source of energy that don't want to stopped anymore once it is moving .

That's how the little toy car can drive for quiet a distance without an engine and how you give your low or high performance engine that little push in the back to gain higher top speeds...
