● The Yuminashi Dark Performance Air Filter Series are a very high end and very high efficiency series of air filters, designed to be used on both, carburetor and fuel injection systems, which comes with an amazing price tag.
These air filters are produced with the newest generation high quality non-woven and washable fabric made with special chemical fibers, so it can be used repeatedly.

● The benefit of using the latest generation non-woven material does not only result in a washable, high performance air filter, but also in an air filter developed to run totally dry, which means that you don't need to oil them anymore such as K&N air filters, and with an improved breathing performance with is higher than 95% of the air sport air filters on the market, while still holding a noticeable improved dust holding capacity compared to the oil soaked air filters.

A problem which most people have with the oil soaked air filters, is that it's hard to control the amount of oil you poor over them.
If you oil them too much, it will be hard to breath, to start the engine, and to run it at fill capacity.
This problem is totally gone with the dry Black Performance Series air filters.

The high flow pattern is made from special chemical fibers which can increase the air intake, reduce the resistance of the air entering the engine, and increase the air volume and volume efficiency per unit time while the engine is running.

● Polyurethane rubber is used to make a perfect leak free seal on carburetor and fuel injection systems.
※ The ridge inside the rubber is slightly higher compared to a normal air filter to fit with fuel injections systems, and might to be adjusted slightly when installed on carburetors. 

● The benefit of an oval air filter is that it's breathing better compared to a round/cone air filter, and that you have a larger filtering capacity.
The downside of an oval air filter is that this is a larger filter type, where a round, cone air filter type can be more practical if you have a compact frame, and are limited in space for your engine set up.
