● The benefit is also that this throttle body accepts your stock B-Type injector because of the special B-type injector joint (LINK) which makes it easy to install since you don't need to use a wire loom to connect it to your stock wire harness.
※ The stock CBR250R and CBR300R have a 260cc/min injector installed, and if you need a larger 305cc/min (LINK) or even a 450cc/min (LINK) KEIHIN B-TYPE injector, then we have them available.
※ If you want to use the stock CBR250R/CBR300R Denso injector type (LINK), then this is perfectly possible, you only need to order optional the injector joint for the Denso injectors then (LINK).

● The stainless steel throttle cable bracket keeps everything very low and compact, and doesn't push your throttle cable high up as it does with the stock CBR250R/CBR300R throttle cable bracket.

● This throttle body upgrade set is perfect to be installed with a high performance camshaft and can be used in combination with the stock air filter box or a higher flowing air filter type (LINK).
● The throttle body size of 42.5mm is basically based on the throttle body size from the CRF250R, which has a bore diameter from 79mm and has stock from the factory a 44mm throttle body installed.
The CRF250R is cranking 39.0 hp at 12,900 rpm at the Dyno with 18.8 pound-feet of torque at 9,500 rpm at the rear wheel, which is a serious step up compared to the CBR250R engine which delivers 23.7 hp (17.7 kW) @ 9,900 rpm (rear wheel) 21.9 hp (16.3 kW) @ 8,500 rpm 26.7 hp (19.9 kW) @ 8,500 rpm.
Based on the results, we can see and conclude that the 44mm throttle body used by Honda for the 79mm bore is a very well balanced bore to throttle body ratio to produce horsepower, and if we keep the same bore/throttle body ratio (Ratio 1,795) then the throttle body result for the stock bore is 76mm / 1,795= 42.34mm.
