● YUMINASHI isn't using a aluminium roller bearing system for this design because this would be too soft again, but a steel roller bearing system with a steel sprocket made from the same material steel as the sprocket installed on the crankshaft.
● By creating a true steel roller bearing system YUMINASHI has created a tensioner system which is far superior to the aluminium bearing or journal bearing designs, which prevent failures at higher RPMs.
● This design is clearly not made to look pretty, but to be as reliable as it gets, and this steel tensioner system can be considered as a bulletproof system for your HONDA 110i engine which will allow you to push the limits on the engine, and to run many worry free kilometers or miles with the bike without ever thinking again about a tensioner failure...
※ The steel sprocket isn't bolted on the tensioner arm, and can be replaced. Once installed the sprocket can't fall off the tensioner arm.
※ The rubber on the tensioner push rod remains a weak spot, we recommend to replace the stock rubber 14566-086-030 with a 14566-K26-B00 Heavy Duty Cam Chain Button (LINK), in combination with the Optimized Tensioner Rod 14550-K26-000 (LINK) to upgrade the weak spots.
