● The YUMINASHI trapezoidal KEVLAR Series have been developed as a performance belt, are made from Kevlar®/Aramid fiber Reinforced Chloroprene Rubber compound which has Superior Weather, Heat, Oil & Chemical Resistance to better resist wear and ensure smooth sliding in the variator pulleys.

● The YUMINASHI Kevlar®/Aramid fiber Reinforced Chloroprene Rubber compound belt has been created to meet the demands of the customer looking for a better than standard OEM performing belt.

● The dimensions are 850mm x 22.2mm x 28° (to be used on a 14° variator)

● THE YUMINASHI KEVLAR BELT SERIES HAVE:

  • An advanced chemical treatment of the tensile members, to assure improved bonding between cord and rubber and guarantee longer belt life and high shock resistance
  • Unique rubber compounds, to offer optimum resistance to the highest and lowest temperatures and to thermic load under friction
  • Consistent production processes, to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Can be used in maxi scooters or higher performance scooters, but can also be used as a replacement for the original belt. 

● Using a high-performance drive belt is the SINGLE most effective thing you can do to improve or maintain your scooter's performance.

● The drive belt is the sole link between your engine and the rear wheel. Regardless of how much time and money you have spent tuning your engine or how high a quality or sticky tyre you run. It’s the drive belt that will decide how much power is transmitted and how responsive that transmission of power is delivered.
● Some replacement belts can have up to 13mm
(1/2”) variance in length. Longer belts affect the operation of the clutches, belt slipping under load and create inconsistencies in shifting at the optimum rate. When power is applied the belt can stretch causing the same issues. This also can cause excessive wear on the clutches. Incorrect side angle means that the belt is only partially gripping the bell housing meaning increased wear, belt slip and inability to transmit the full power to the rear wheel.
