● It's a very well known problem that the clutch is the weak spot if you are installing a big bore kit on the Euro-5 and Euro-5+ Smart Engines, and this YUMINASHI 6-Disk/6-Bolt Performance Clutch Set has been designed to work flawlessly on the YUMINASHI 190CC 4V SUPER BORE kit, so this performance clutch can handle basically with ease any big bore kit, and that includes even larger big bore as the YUMINASHI 190CC 4V kits in combination with the YUMINASHI SUPERBORE CRANKCASE SET...
● The kit upgrades the stock plate setup to a 6-friction-plate and 6-spring configuration rated to hold up to 50 horsepower. It uses lightweight aluminum plates to reduce the rotating mass of the clutch pack itself, which lowers the effort required to pull the clutch lever while maintaining high clamping force.
● Recommend to be installed in combination with our Reinforced Copper High Performance Semi-Auto Clutch Set #22660-K1M-TCS (LINK), or with the YUMINASHI MANUAL CLUTCH CONVERSION SET for these engines!...
※ The sprocket and woodruff in the set need only to be used if you are installing the YUMINASHI MANUAL CLUTCH CONVERSION SET for these engines!:
- For Semi-Automatic Builds (Stock Cover): If you keep the stock clutch cover and retaining the factory centrifugal auto-clutch on the crankshaft, then you will not use the small crankshaft gear sprocket and woodruff in the set.
Simply install the 6-plate basket, and it will mesh with your existing factory auto-clutch gear. - For Full Manual Builds (YUMINASHI Manual Cover **FOR WAVE110i/125i | DREAM125i ONLY): If you are installing the manual clutch cover conversion #11330-K1M-T00M, then you must remove the centrifugal auto-clutch to replace it with the YUMINASHI manual clutch cover, and you must use the small gear sprocket to link the crankshaft to the new 6-plate basket.
In a stock, semi-automatic 110i/125i engine, the right side of the crankshaft is occupied by the heavy centrifugal auto-clutch assembly.
That factory auto-clutch has its own integrated primary drive gear that meshes with the clutch basket.To perform a manual clutch conversion, the entire centrifugal auto-clutch assembly must be unbolted and permanently removed from the crankshaft.
Once that bulky unit is gone, the engine needs a way to transmit power from the bare crankshaft to the newly installed 6-plate clutch basket.That is exactly what this small, crankshaft gear is for. It slides directly onto the crankshaft (secured by the Woodruff key provided in the kit) to replace the auto-clutch and drive the basket.
