● The beauty is that you can serve both, your fuel injector and carburetor customers, because this double layered air filter system can be used on carburetor and fuel injection systems, and has a good filter capacity with a thinner outer layer, and a thicker, more dense, inner layer.
It's simply said a 2-layer high efficiency filter with a rough outer and a smaller filter sponge inside which is a self-cleaning filter that catches approximately dirt and dust, and removes dirt and dust from the vibration during driving.

● The name used in Japanese for this air filter type is スーパーパワークリーナー which means "Super Power Cleaner".

● The filter is washable and reusable, and has a higher flow capacity compared to a K&N air filter which makes it a perfect choice for a race bike.
Keep in mind that this air filter will make more noise compared to the stock air filter, which can be a downside if you are using your bike as a daily commuter.

● The rubber is made of a high quality Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and can be used on slightly smaller or larger than 35mm air filter connection diameter carburetor and fuel injection throttle bodies, up to 2 to 3mm larger than 35mm.
The rubber is flexible and will make a perfect tight fit once installed on these throttle bodies or carburetors...

● If there is something which air doesn't like in an air intake system, then it's bends/curves, and certainly no bends or curves from 90° or 180° which results basically in a plain power loss because air wants to go straight and not around corners.
The problem with scooters is that you can't install always a straight air filter because most of the time the mudguard will be in the way, and with pitbikes and Honda or Kawasaki minibikes the frame will be in the way to install such a straight air filter type.

This air filter has been created with this in mind and with a slightly angle of 15 degrees it won't hurt the flow much, and this angle can be enough to fit scooters, pitbikes and minibikes (please check before order).
