● The stock thermostat keeps the valve closed so that the coolant isn't going to the radiator until a certain temperature and pressure inside the cooling system is achieved.

● If you install this bypass, then all the coolant circulation in your engine is passing your radiator from the moment on you are starting your engine.

※ The benefit of this system is that you are using your radiator all the time to cool your engine, downside of this system is that it takes longer until your engine is at operation temperature, and this can be annoying because the throttle response isn't that good until the engine is at operational temperature.
