● 150 STD HEAD CONVERSION & DOME PISTON KIT (13MM PIN) (PCX125 V1) 
 
● This YUMINASHI STD150 eSP Conversion Head Set comes with the 13mm pin high compression 60mm Dome piston to convert and upgrade your first generation PCX125 engine in to a newer generation eSP 164cc high compression engine.
 
This head comes complete with larger 29/23mm valves installed, in combination with double reinforced valve springs, special retainers and with a 3pcs 60mm gasket set mentioned for a 60mm piston.

This specific set with the included STD150 Head is mentioned for the First Generation PCX125 bikes.

The entire set comes with all parts necessary to be installed on the first generation PCX125 like:

- a Next Generation eSP aluminum Cylinderhead Cover with rubber Gasket
- 4 bolts for the cover
- 2 x M7 Bolts for the Exhaust
- 2 nuts M7 for the exhaust
- a larger diameter exhaust gasket
- a special water cooling adaptor set which includes a eSP water hose joint pipe and the YUMINASHI water cooler adaptor hose to make the switch possible to install a new generation eSP head on your first generation PCX125 frame and water cooler.

● The STD 150 Head comes without the camshaft and rockers, with dubbel reinforced valve springs and special retainers installed. First generation rockers can be installed in this 150 head.

The 60mm 164cc Bore Up high compression piston with 13mm pin in the set is a special dome piston prepared for the larger 150 STD Head with 29/23mm valves!

The hard chromium plating layered (Cr) piston rings which come with the set are produced by very strict Japanese standards and has excellent characteristics which combine the original properties of chromium metal with the advantages of erectro-deposits!

The main benefits from the chrominum plating layered piston rings (link)  are extermely high hardness of HmV (Micro Vickers), 800 to 1100 (cf. gray cast iron 220 to 270), high melting point of approx. 1800°C (cf. cast iron 1200°C), good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, a low friction factor and excellent wear resistance, such features are very effective in preventing piston ring wear.

The enlightened piston is made from A-grade materials and the piston skirts come with a molybdenum coating. The Anti-detonation grooves on the top ringland provide several advantages, which include further atomization of the combustion charge to prevent damage to the piston and ring caused by pre-ignition. These grooves also prevent carbon build up on the ring land which can cause the compression ring to stick in the ring groove.

The pressure seal groove will prevent gas build up below the top compression ring; these gases can cause the ring to lift from the ring groove. Unseating of the ring will result in compression losses and lower performance.

The valve pockets in the piston are prepared to run with the larger 150 head with 29/23mm valves..

 The head is plug and play ready to accept both, the first generation PCX125 and the eSP 125/150cc camshaft and rockers.
 The dome piston can be installed in to a stock PCX150 cylinder if you bore the cylinder up to 60.04mm 

 The 150 STD Head can not be installed on a cylinder mentioned for the stock 125cc cylinder head since the water circulation holes in the 125 cylinder won't match with the holes in the 150 STD Head.  
No problem of course if you are using a cylinder mentioned for a 150 engine. (The water circulation holes on the 150 head are positioned further outside of the center compared to the 125 head)

 The screw thread of the water temperature sensor in the eSP 125 and 150 STD Head is M10x1.25 (PCX125 first generation water temp sensor is M12x1.50).
If you want to install the PCX125 first generation water temperature sensor on the 150 STD head, then you can pre-drill with a 10.5mm drill bit, and tap the new screw threads with an M12x1.50 tap.   

 If you would like to bore up a stock PCX150 cylinder, then keep in mind that you need to use a copper gasket.
Keep also in mind that a stock cylinder has a higher chance on a leaking head gasket compared to the plug & play PCX125 V1 Yuminashi Flat Deck cylinder.

 This bracket (link) need to be installed if you would like to use a stock PCX150 cylinder on your first generation PCX125

 The stock PCX150 cylinder won't fit in the crankcase from the first generation PCX125, the sleeve need to be machined on the outside to make it fit in the crankcases.

 The cylinder head nuts neet to be tightened at 27Nm (2.8kgF-M)
