● This +4mm stroke connecting rod set is really something to consider installing when you are looking to replace your old connecting rod.

● This set includes the STOCK/STANDARD (STD) 125cc/160cc length connecting rod, a +2mm offset big-end pin and the SPL split big-end needle bearing in the package.

● The STD/stock connecting rod measurements are Ø14xØ38x95mm, the crankpin size is Ø30x44.5mm.

● The 2mm offset stroker pin in the set lift the stroke up from 55.5mm to 59.5mm, which is a 4mm higher stroke compared to stock, and this is even a 2mm longer stroke compared to the formal 2-valve generation 125cc and 150cc eSP engines...

● So if you are looking to replace your connecting rod, or you simply like the idea to boost the cylinder displacement/torque, then this +4mm Stroke Connecting Rod Set is really the way moving forward!...

● With a 4mm longer stroke installed on a 60mm bore you get a 168.15cc square engine, (which is an engine with the bore diameter equal to the stroke length), and this is a 11.31cc higher displacement compared to the stock eSP+ 160 engines.

  • A square engine offers a balance between high-end power and low-end torque.
  • Square engines tend to be more versatile, making them a popular choice for various riding conditions.

● Advantages of Square Engines:

  • Increased surface area allows for more air intake and exhaust
  • Creates fewer vibrations and extends the engine’s lifespan.

※ You can remain the stock throttle body, but we recommend to install a 170cc/minute injector (LINK).
※ You can use the original cylinder studs, but we do recommend replacing them by the +2mm longer cylinder studs (LINK).
※ You don't need to install longer dowel pins, but you do need to install a longer 94L cam chain (LINK) together with the 2mm aluminium spacer gasket set (LINK)...
※ Remove the cam chain tensioner from the cylinder block before you install the cam chain and sprocket on the camshaft!...
