● This 14/42T Final Drive Gear Set With Shaft could be a good idea to use with a 62mm or 63mm big bore on a PCX125 or PCX160, and is really easy to install because it comes complete with the 42T sprocket on the shaft, and this allows you to start right away with the install once the package arrives, while avoiding loosing time and mechanic expenses to remove the stock sprocket, and to reinstall the new 42T sprocket on your stock shaft...

● This specific set is a custom set created with performance in mind, so both sprockets have been made les wide compared to the stock sprocket, and this has been done to get less drag as result. The splines from the 14T sprocket are also made with a narrower tolerance and tighter fit compared to stock, and this to have the sprocket perfectly centered in the counter sprocket and to lower the risk on sprocket noise.

※ You will be able to push the splines from the 14T sprocket about to halfway in the counter sprocket, and the sprocket will be able to go all the way in the counter sprocket by gently tapping on the 14T sprocket with a hammer, please keep in mind that there is no need to use any force for that, it will go all the way in and make a perfect tight fit. 

※ Your 4V-125cc, 4V-150cc and 4V-160cc eSP+ engine has stock/original a 13T countershaft sprocket installed in combination with a 44T final gear.

※ The 42T sprocket affects the speed sensor detection, you need to modify the stock speed sensor, or install a special one to make your speedometer work!...

※ If you don't need the shaft in the set, then you can order this 14/42T sprocket set also without the shaft in the set (LINK).

※ We strongly recommend to use the high grade MOTUL Scooter Gear Plus 80W-90 gear oil (LINK), for the stock engine and certainly if you have a tuned engine.
 

● PLEASE USE THE FINAL GEAR SPROCKET GUIDE BELOW:  

● The Final Gear Sprocket Guide below can give you an impression about what the speed result would be if you install a YUMINASHI variator on the gear combination you have now, and what the result could be if you are using this 18/43T or another gear combination.  

● Keep in mind that the heavier gear combination you select, the more your engine will struggle to reach top speed and to hit the RPM limiter.  

● If your engine doesn't have power enough, then a heavier final gear sprocket combination will not result in a higher top speed, but into a lower top speed which will be very sensitive to head wind and road conditions (uphill roads).  

● We have created many different sprocket combinations, allowing you to select and fine tune the acceleration and top speed result perfectly based on your engine power and personal body weight.  

※ If you have a 62 or 63mm big bore kit, then we recommend to select nothing more than a GPS top speed of 130KM/H.
