● The Yuminashi NK-series camshafts are a special enlightened series/version of the stock camshaft model, and with the specific R-259 cam characteristics you get a true racing camshaft which doesn't have as much torque and horsepower as the Yuminashi S-238 camshaft (LINK) in the lower RPM zone, but it really takes over, and kicks in around 8,250RPM, to build up more torque and horsepower in a straight line until 10,500RPM and more, depending on the specifications of your valves and ports...

● We don't recommend to install the R-259 camshaft in combination with the stock piston, this cam will do a great job with a big valve head, and needs a 60mm piston installed or larger.
The R-259 camshaft is also a good choice if you want to stroke up your engine, because with the longer stroke you get higher torque, and with this cam installed you will get the horsepower.

※ We strongly recommend to install our titanium retainer set in combination with this camshaft (LINK), and you certainly need to install our double valve springs set (LINK) because this camshaft will rev!

● If you would like to compare the Yuminashi R-259 camshaft to other camshafts out there, then we could compare it with the TAKEGAWA S30 / S30D / R30 cam, but the torque of the YUMINASHI R-259 will be higher compared to the the TAKEGAWA S30 / S30D / R30 camshafts...    

※ If you have a 60mm piston (164cc), then you can install the 170cc/min injector (LINK) which should be pretty close to what you need.

※ Having your ECU tune right for any of the camshafts mentioned above is very important to get the most out of your camshaft and big bore kit.
