● The ST-227 Sports Touring camshaft has been developed by YUMINASHI in 2024 for the formal generation Euro-4 engines (2013 - 2021), and this as a step up for the NK-series S-238 camshaft to bring both, more torque and horsepower to your engine until it hits the RPM limiter.

● This Sports Touring camshaft has been developed as a good linear power camshaft for the older models to get a more low end/mid range power camshaft which is pushing hard until the rev limiter.

● You can see clearly on the dyno graph below that the torque is really strong, and that the horsepower takes the torque over at 7,689RPM to make the highest horsepower at 9,804RPM which is a 300RPM's passed the rev limiter.

● In the dyno run below with the YUMINASHI 56mm 143cc Light Bore Up kit (LINK) you can see that we have created a true sporty touring camshaft which is perfect camshaft if you intent to use your bike as a daily driver or off-road bike and not as a high RPM race bike.

Dyno run above with JB02 2018 Z125 MONKEY, YUMINASHI 143CC Light Bore Kit, stock 125 head, YUMINASHI ST-227 Cam, 140cc injector, stock Monkey exhaust, stock manifold & throttle body. 

 If you have a Z125 MONKEY (EUR-4) with the YUMINASHI 140cc kit on, then we have a new ECU worked out based on this camshaft, so check the ECU section out if you have this bike!... 

● The Yuminashi ST-227 camshaft is great camshaft to be installed with the stock piston, a 143cc kit or a 164cc kit and to deal in a much better way with the typical huge RPM drop which you experience if you shift from 3th to 4th gear.

● If you rev the engine in 3th gear until 9,400RPM, and you shift to 4th gear, then the RPM's fall down from 9,400 to 7,545RPM and with the stock camshaft the torque isn't there to pull away in that gear.

● The Yuminashi ST-227 camshaft can be installed on all piston sizes, and will do a really great job with a STD 52.4mm / 56mm / 60mm / 63mm, even with a really big valves head installed...

 If you have a stock 52.4mm piston until a 54mm piston, then this camshaft need to be installed with at least our 6-holes 120cc/min injector (LINK)!

If you have a 56mm piston (143cc) until a 60mm piston (164cc), then you can install the 8 holes 140cc/min injector (LINK).

 Having your ECU tune right for any of the camshafts mentioned above is very important to compare them.

 The camshaft comes complete with NSK JAPAN bearings installed.
 If you install the camshaft, then check if the valve pockets in your piston are deep enough, and if you have enough clearance between the retainer and the valve guide by turning your crankshaft manually around without a spark plug installed before you start the engine!!!
We have special high lift valves for the stock head available (LINK), and a SPL high lift retainer set (LINK).
