29/24.5MM BIMETAL STAINLESS COATED VALVES (MSX125 / Z125MONKEY / CT125 / C125..) (14722-K26-290S)

● This special 29mm intake valve & 24.5mm exhaust valve set has a 5mm valve stem with undercut to 4.5mm and come in the stock valve height (non high lift valves) to be used with the EVO-camshaft (LINK) (※Camshaft not possible to be used in the pre 2013 engines).

● These special stainless valves are produced by Yuminashi for the high performance Yuminashi 290 Dimple-Port Head by using a special technic which joins seamlessly together two different valve materials by friction welding.

● Here, hot, high hard alloy steel (non-magnetic Austenitic Stainless Steel) is used at the head while, the stem is made from an upright magnetic kind of steel (Martensitic Stainless Steel).

● Martensitic stainless steel is a type of stainless steel alloy that has a martensite crystal structure. It can be hardened and tempered through aging and heat treatment, and the stainless steel alloy is non-magnetic because of the austenitic crystal structure.

● In this way, the desirable properties of each material is optimized. These include, high temperature corrosion resistance in the austenitic stainless steels of the head, and high tensile strength and abrasive wear resistance in the martensitic stainless steel of the stem.

● Yuminashi has chosen for this technique which is used in medium to high stressed exhaust valves, and in high stressed intake valves to deliver a high performance high reliability product.

※ These valves have the stock valve length, so they can be used in the stock 125 cylinder heads from the pre 2013 and 2013 - 2021 engines if you remove the stock valve seats, and replace them with 29mm and 24.5mm valve seats.
